Mankind

In this sms from IW, today...thanks babe.

Somebody once asked god, "What surprises you most, about Mankind..?"

God replied..

"they lose their health to make money and then, lose their money to restore their health...

By thinking anxiously about the future, they forget the present...

Such that, they live neither for the present nor for the future...

They live as if they will never die and they die, as if they had never lived..."

The sms came in this morning as I was rehearsing for my duet for Sunday, this evening's showcase of the duet at No Black Tie will not take place, Cindy and I have decided to reserve the duet for this Sunday at her song recital -- see details below

I read the reflective sms and passed to Cindy also. I don't know about some of you but I have always managed to enjoy my `present' moments, I had great moments this morning listening to great songs by Tosti being rehearsed, obscure (to me) Argentinian and Spanish art songs sung with a lot of heart by Cindy and we (tenors Wei Han & Chee Shen) totally enjoyed Cindy's go at her vivacious Art Is Calling For Me, complete with antics and drama.

Enjoy...drink in your present and your future will turn out great.
